The best Crepes from Italy!
Simona Silvestri grew up in Southern Italy, on cool Autumn nights she would drive down to one of her favorite place, Otranto. In Otranto a historical sea-side fortress turned into a town, crepe carts parade the streets and seaside. It was that which inspired Mrs.Silvestri to add crepes to her menu here at La Fenice. Unlike their country of origin, our crepes don’t follow the classic French recipe, instead it’s been substituted with an Italian recipe which delivers a thinner more tasteful crepe. La Fenice also offers a series of toppings/condiments for crepes such as:
- Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
- Natural Maple Syrup
- Powdered Sugar
All of these optional ingredients are of the upmost quality and are freshly imported from several regions of Italy. Just like in Italy, quality is the most important.
